Family Fishing Trips

Darryl Morris moved to Arkansas in 1991 where he knew he’d found the best fishing waters in the world. In February 2003, he started fishing lakes Hamilton, DeGray, and Greeson. By March 2005, he began guiding full-time.

It is difficult to catch fish consistently unless you fish often and become familiar with their seasonal migration and feeding patterns. Dozhier’s Rainbow Landing

Dozhier’s Rainbow Landing is a historic bait shop located on Lake Catherine just minutes from our property. Operated by Rick Sawyer, Dozier provides angles with everything from bait tackle, snacks, boat rentals, & professionals guide service. The guides from Dozhier’s – Chuck Emrick and Shane Goodner – have over 60 years of guide service on Lake Catherine and provide regular fishing reports. 

“Lake Catherine is the area’s best kept fishing secret – striper, bass, walleye, crappie & trout fishing is excellent during fall.  From November – May, the lake is frequently stocked with trout, and it’s just like a feeding frenzy if you know the right spots”.  – Rick Sawyer
